Tribute to Betsy Kahl
We were sad to learn of the passing of our long-time friend and colleague, Betsy Kahl,
who died on February 8, 2010. Betsy had a decades-long history of community
activism, starting with her fight against the closing of Towson Elementary School in the
1970s and continuing until her death as an avid defender of the Burkleigh Square
community. She served as President of the GTCCA in the 1990s and as
Vice-President in 2006. Betsy was a dear friend to many of us and we will miss her
kind and gentle spirit. To read a touching tribute to Betsy, please click here.
