Five additional police officers for Towson

From Councilman David Marks:

I have been informed by the Towson precinct that Central Towson should receive five additional police officers this fall, probably around September.

This is a tremendous boost as we work to improve public safety in Towson. Despite a wonderful network of Citizens on Patrol volunteers, Towson is growing and needs a robust police presence.

I have pushed very hard for this police presence, and I know many other community and business groups have made their opinions known. I would like to thank the Police Department and the County Executive’s staff for their assistance.

Please pass the word about this good news.
