Kamenetz Announces Acquisition of Additional Parkland in Towson

County to Purchase Radebaugh Property in Towson

Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz announced that the County will acquire 2.5 acres to be used for passive parkland in Towson.

Baltimore County announced plans to purchase property owned by CM and JL Radebaugh Company, LLLP in conjunction with the Radebaugh Florist Shop at 120 E. Burke Avenue. The property located off of Aigburth Avenue across from 120 E. Burke Avenue is currently used for warehouse and greenhouse space for the flower shop that will remain in operation. The County is purchasing the property with local Program Open Space funds for $1.1 million, a price determined by two independent appraisals. The property is zoned for residential development, and this purchase prevents the development of this area.
