Towson RowTowson Row is bounded roughly by York Road on the east, Towsontown Blvd & Susquehanna Ave on the south, Washington Ave on the west, and W. Chesapeake Ave on the north.

The proposal is for: 374 rental apartments (168 1-bedroom & 168 2-bedroom), 225 dormitory dwellings (student housing), offices, grocery store, general retail, restaurants, armory office, below ground

The applicant proposes a mixed-use development project to include 212,344 sq ft of office space on the top seven floors of a proposed 17-story building, a 54,000 sq ft grocery at the ground level of the 17-story office building, 29,000 sq ft of restaurant space throughout the site at the street level, a 170-room hotel proposed within an 11-story building, 374 rental apartment units within a 24-story building and 900 beds of student housing in a second 24-story building. Parking is proposed for the entire site at 1,435 total parking spaces with 360 spaces located subsurface and the remaining spaces located above ground of seven levels of structured parking within the proposed 17-story office building. There are also parallel parking spaces proposed throughout the site. A plaza/drop off area and other stretscape amenities are proposed throughout the site. Ingress and egress is proposed along Towsontown Blvd with removal of the existing median to allow for turning movements into and out of the site. A traffic signal is being proposed for the main entry point off of Towsontown Blvd. Other vehicular access points are located along Chesapeake and Washington Avenues. Main pedestrian access is proposed near the corner of York Road and Towsontown Blvd as well as the entry located along Towsontown Blvd & Chesapeake Ave. Loading and service areas are proposed along designated points interior to the development site.

If the Local Open Space waiver is granted, the fee would be $55,000.

 

If Baltimore County Schools are closed due to inclement weather, this meeting will be cancelled. If Baltimore County Snow Emergency Plan is in effect at 6:00pm on the night of the meeting, the meeting is cancelled.
